The Connections Behind The BRAVE Collective's Growth

I’m so excited to be sharing this blog series with you because I am going to get to gush about all the amazing sponsors who supported our most recent launch for The Brave Trauma Therapist Collective!

In BRAVE, it’s truly all about the community - the kind we build within our membership and the invaluable connections we foster beyond it.

The Inspiration Behind Our Blog Series

The idea to shine a spotlight on our sponsors came from a simple truth: we're stronger together. Sharing about the sponsors is my way of saying a big thank you to their support and giving you a peek into the kind of relationships that make our collective thrive.

It's also about letting you in on the resources available to you, thanks to their generosity!

My ask was that each sponsor would contribute something for our BRAVE members to win at the end of the launch - all members were entered into drawings for all the bonuses, whether they had been with us since the beginning or were brand new!

Asking for help is so tough, and this was no different. When I first reached out to our sponsors, I was really excited, and also super scared! The overwhelming yes I received in response knocked me to my knees and was a testament to the community we've built in BRAVE—a community founded on reciprocity and a shared goal of making a difference in the world of trauma therapy.

Meet Our Generous Sponsors

In the first post of this blog series, we're focusing on three very special sponsors: Shara Goudreau, Michelle Risser, and Tamara Howell.

Each of these women mean so much to me personally and professionally and they all bring something unique to the table, from specialized EMDR consultation sessions to invaluable business coaching for therapists. Their contributions are not just gifts; they're tools to enhance your practice and grow your impact.

We've got lots of insights and resources from Shara, Michelle, and Tamara to cover, all aimed at helping you deepen your practice and extend your reach. So let's get to it!

Spotlight on Shara Goudreau

Pioneering Trauma Therapy Through EMDR

Shara Goudreau, PhD, LMHC-QS stands out in the trauma therapy community as a Certified EMDR Therapist and EMDR Consultant In Training.

Also the owner of Infinite Potential Counseling & Consultation, based in sunny Florida, Shara brings a wealth of knowledge and a heart of compassion and empathy to her work. Her dedication to helping fellow trauma therapists navigate how to support clients with complex trauma and dissociation has helped her clients, her EMDR consultees, and the members of The BRAVE Trauma Therapist Collective when she presented on this topic in her Guest Expert Training.

Shara's Generous Contribution

During our latest launch of The BRAVE Trauma Therapist Collective, Shara stepped forward with an incredibly generous offer: three EMDR consultation meetings, gifted to one lucky BRAVE member!

This gift served as a golden opportunity for one of our BRAVE members to deepen their understanding of how EMDR can transform the healing journey for clients dealing with complex trauma and dissociation. Shara helped this member build confidence, skills, and understanding in an area that, for many, feels very scary.

A Deep Dive into Attachment and Dissociation

Shara's support for trauma therapists doesn't stop at consultation meetings. She's also created a free resource that supports trauma therapists in working with two of the most challenging aspects of trauma therapy: attachment and dissociation.

With Shara's insights, trauma therapists can gain a clearer understanding of how these complex issues interweave with client's’ histories of trauma, influencing both the therapeutic process and client outcomes.

Make sure to grab her free guide today and check out her website for more information on working with her towards EMDR Certification.

Spotlight on Michelle Risser

Diving Into the World of CEUs

Michelle Risser isn’t just my colleague or fellow online business owner. She's my biz bestie and my go to source of support as I continue to grow and expand The BRAVE Trauma Therapist Collective and innovate around supporting therapists to diversify their income in our group program, Burned Out to BRAVE.

Michelle's Magic Touch

Michelle is known as the go to person when therapists want to learn how to teach and sell CEU courses. She has this incredible knack for demystifying this whole process, making the daunting task of applying to boards actually doable!

If you’re like so many creative and entrepreneurial therapists out there, you too have a maze of ideas in your head but you’re not quite sure which route to take. Michelle is the person that hands you a map and guides you from start to finish.

One of our BRAVE members got to experience this first hand when they were the lucky recipient of her self-paced course on diversifying income by teaching CEUs. It’s like she handed over the keys to unlock a new level in this member’s career, and she can help you in that way too!

The Checklist You Didn't Know You Needed

Michelle knows that not everyone is ready for her full course (that is chock full of content to get you from A to Z with your CEU Course btw!), which is why she has turned her step-by-step process into a free CEU Checklist that she wants to share with you!

Michelle’s approach simplifies the complex, making success not just a possibility but an expectation. I’m the first to tell you that, especially for the DIYers out there, this checklist is seriously all you need to get your CEU course submitted and approved, so make sure you grab it. And if you’re like me, and along the way you realize that Michelle’s help will really take your course to the next level, now you know how to connect with her!

Why Michelle’s Approach Resonates

In a world where we’re all striving to do more, be more, and give more, Michelle is there to help you ground and connect with the things that will actually move the needle without stealing your precious time.

Her tools aren’t just about expanding your income; they’re about expanding your impact, sharing your unique insights and helping more humans in the process.

So, if you're even a tiny bit curious about stepping into the world of teaching CEUs, do yourself a favor and grab her free checklist. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Spotlight on Tamara Howell

Guiding Therapists Toward Future-Proof Practices

Tamara Howell isn't just any business coach; she's a go to resource for therapists ready to start or expand their private practice and so much more. As a UK Qualified Psychotherapist, she has built her own practice in a way that supports her life of international travel. Oh, and did I mention she’s one of my business mentors??

After I participated in the first ever TheraBundle in 2022, I knew I had to learn more from Tamara about running an online business as a therapist. When she announced a super secret mastermind to the TheraBundle contributors, you better believe I signed up!

I learned so much from Tamara in that year working with her, and received so much support from her. The greatest takeaway was her emphasis on a values-aligned and value-led business. This was something I knew was important to me, but she taught me how to actually run my business in this way.

Because of all I learned from Tamara, I think it’s safe to say that the recent change to make The BRAVE Trauma Therapist Collective an all $9 membership for full access is at least partly her doing. 💜

A Gift of Preparedness: Clinical Wills Training

For our most recent launch of BRAVE, Tamara very generously shared her Clinical Wills Training and Templates course with one lucky BRAVE member. Now, I know this may not have been what you expected, but let’s not pretend like we don’t both know how important this process is, and how few of us actually have it set up.

I mean, imagine waking up to a world where your practice and your clients are protected, no matter what life throws your way. That's the peace of mind Tamara's Clinical Wills Training and Template course brings. This resource is more than the in-depth videos and plug and play templates; it's peace of mind, ensuring continuity and care in your practice even in your absence.

Breaking Borders: International Therapy Practices

As our reach as therapists continues to grow through telehealth and other asynchronous forms of providing psychotherapy, Tamara is the person you want in your corner if you’re preparing to expand into the possibilities of international therapy work.

Her free International Practice Checklist is more than it sounds; instead of just checking boxes, it’s going to walk you through each step of expanding your impact and reaching clients across the globe. This resource is gold for any therapist curious about or actively seeking to broaden their practice internationally.

Why Tamara's Insights Are Invaluable

When you work with Tamara, or just spend time around her, you learn that her passion and commitment goes beyond helping therapists expand their practices or diversify their incomes; she is a leader in creating values-aligned, adaptable, and globally aware businesses for therapists.

Her contributions to the BRAVE community underscore a commitment to not just surviving but thriving in the ever-evolving landscape of mental health services.

Wrapping Up with Gratitude
